Welcome to the Weavers' Guild of Greater Baltimore
Dedicated to the Exploration of All Fiber Arts
The purpose of the Weavers Guild of Greater Baltimore is to increase the general knowledge of the fiber arts and to encourage them as hobbies and creative activities. The Guild strives to meet these goals through monthly meetings, a resource library and equipment rentals. The WGGB also sponsors weaving classes at The Bloomsbury Community Center in Catonsville, MD, with the cooperation of Catonsville Recreation and Parks.
Approximately 150 weavers, spinners, dyers, and related fiber artists from Central Maryland make up the current membership. You can also meet guild members demonstrating at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival each May.
The Gathering Place
The WGGB meets monthly from September to June, on the first Tuesday. Our meetings are held at the Howard County Center for the Arts, which is located at 8510 High Ridge Road, Ellicott City, MD 21043.
Visitors are welcome to attend a meeting at no charge.
