Welcome to the home page of the Weaver's Guild of Greater Baltimore! Our purpose is to increase the general knowledge of the fiber arts and to encourage them as hobbies and creative activities. The Guild strives to meet these goals through monthly meetings, a resource library and equipment rentals. The WGGB also sponsors weaving classes at The Bloomsbury Community Center in Catonsville, MD, with the cooperation of Catonsville Recreation and Parks.
Approximately 150 weavers, spinners, dyers, and related fiber artists from Central Maryland make up the current membership. You can also meet guild members demonstrating at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival each May.
